Cue Components, Natural brown Phenolic® was developed specifically for custom cue makers. This rod is manufactured using the finest materials and a proprietary pigmented-resin system so that you don't get the linen look under magnification similar to the inferior stuff sold by other sources in Skokie. The material is strong, easy to machine, and natural brown in color after applying a clear coat.

Cue Components Shaft & Tip Leather Burnisher is Made In The USA of fine quality leather. You can burnish the shaft and cue tips as well.

Just grab the shaft and stroke up and down to seal the wood and make the shaft slick. This will seal out moisture and not allow the grain to raise. The shaft will be slick and smoother to the feel when shooting.

The size is 2.5" x 4".

Barringer's E-Z Shine Bees Wax is pure, natural and triple filtered as compared to the dirty and nasty looking Tiger Bees Wax. Simply look at the color variation. This product comes in blocks rather than rounds which makes it easier to use and apply. Round doesn't work as well. These are the same weight as the Tiger MAP CRAP Bees Wax but ours is a higher grade and less money too!

You can use these to burnish the sides of tips and use to fill in cracks on tables as well. Do not use this on shafts unless you can burnish with a lathe. These blocks are exceptional quality and value!

There are knock-offs of this cutter out there which are imported from overseas. Ours is made in America. That's the difference in price. If you want to save then buy their cutter but if you want American quality and precision, then this is the cutter for you.

This tool is great for table top lathes such as Porper, Hightower and Unique (taper shaper and their CNC) as well as larger floor lathes and Align-Rite CNC machines. The diameter is 1.25" with a 1/4" shank; incredibly small but with the necessary power. Carbide Tipped!

This is made on a CNC machine and the blades are all in-line with one another. This is a 6 flute router bit for extreme accuracy, smooth cuts and less vibration. You'll get ultra smooth cuts on shafts and butts. The cut is so smooth that it appears as if the finished piece has been sanded and buffed! Exceptionally clean cuts. A must for the serious cue builder.

We use this 6 flute blade on our router when cutting shafts and butts with our 14" X 40" tapering lathe as well as other machines. This is a great cutter!

These are similar to the 'Radial' pin but we're not allowed to use the word 'radial' as it is trademarked so we're using the word 'radius'. You can buy the 'radial' pin and pay more or you can buy our 'radius' and save money. We defy you to tell them apart.

Our inventory is deep, where you'll always get well aged shafts that were turned months ago. You'll never get shafts from us that were turned last week. Our inventory is extremely deep and aged so we can immediately supply shafts in virtually any quantity. Our shaft wood is your shaft wood. We turn them incrementally with a minimum of 45 days between passes. We can do it that way because of the depth of our shaft wood inventory.

There is no one in this business that can provide the quality, quantity and aged wood as we do. Some may say that they are selling aged wood but look at their inventories and that will tell you the tale. We have thousands and thousands hanging around and are more than happy to show you pictures of them. We can draw from that inventory.

And most importantly.... All Shaft wood is available for immediate delivery. We have sufficient back-stock to fill all orders in any quantity range. There is never a 2, 3 or 4 week delay; ever! If there is a delay, you're getting freshly turned shafts.

We supply shafts in 30" lengths which is sufficient to make any shaft for 99.999% of pool players. Most want a standard shaft at 29" and very few want longer shafts on their cues. You'll get an occasional order for a 29.5" and seldom a 30" but these are sufficient to cover any needs. Working with longer shafts will throw off your taper or you'll have to adjust the taper when you cut off the additional length. Working as close to final is always easier and less complicated. We like uncomplicated.

We bring in the finest hard maple available, directly from Northern Michigan. Only years of strong relationships can afford us the opportunity to offer out such quality. We bring these pieces in by the pallets several times a year and pass the savings but most importantly - the quality on to you.

Grading is subjective and varies with each persons definitions. We endeavour to grade conservatively and accurately.

Grade Pro-Growth

These are the best of the best. These are all high growth ring concentration, white and perfectly straight-grained. Just take a close look at the two photo's.This is genuine old-growth maple that rarely come up for sale these days. We've latched on to a supplier and that's all we're getting. Don't bother looking for these from anyone else as they are virtually nonexistent except through us.

We will guarantee 18+ rings to the inch and they are being sold as 1" X 30" rounds. They are all straight and tight-grained. These will weigh in at well over 4oz when tapered down to a final shaft. These are dense and produce a very distinctive 'hit'. You cannot purchase better shaft wood

Grade AAA Superb: These are absolutely Superb shafts with an incredible number of growth rings. These will average 12 - 18+ rings per inch with many in the 18+ rings per inch. These are seldomly seen this nice. In fact, these are like having naturally laminated shafts.

Grade AAA: These are straight, white, may contain a slight amount of sugar but these are usually clear, no grain run-off and a beautiful straight spine. These average about 6 -12 or more growth rings per inch. These are strictly for high end cues or low end cues with great shafts.

Grade AA: These are straight, white and a tiny amount of sugar may show (very slight), may have slight grain run-off. These average 6 -12 or more growth rings per inch. Excellent for middle range cues -- excellent value

Grade A: These are straight, white and/or may be slightly off white, small amounts of sugar may show, slight grain run off and may show a slight wiggle in the grain. These average 6-12 or more growth rings per inch. Great for lower end cues and sneaky petes. These are really nice dowels and will make very nice shafts.

This is a tapping accessory for use on all type lathes. This precision aid assures the same tap alignment as the drilled hole to produce accurate, improved threads and it reduces tap breakage. You'll never get more accurate tapping than with this handy tool.

Ease of Operation: Simply place the tap into the tapper. Then insert the tapper into your chuck on the tail stock. Move the tailstock forward and up to the work piece in the same plane as the drilled hole. No power is necessary as the tool is manufactured for hand tapping. Just apply some inward pressure on the "T" handle while turning to start the tap. As soon as the tapping starts, inward pressure is no longer required.

We have tapped with this tool under low power and it produces accurate and smooth threads. We do not recommend tapping under power for safety reasons. For safety we recommend rotating the chuck by hand.

If you've ever had problems creating accurate threads, this handy tool will resolve that problem. We use about 8 of these for all the different tap sizes which we use on a daily basis. They're really handy, accurate and easy to use. Saves time too! Taps not included.

Installing a new tip?  Get your cue ready quickly with this sander.  Simply place the cue into the provided slot, press the tip/ferrule against the sandpaper, and rotate.  The easiest way to prep your cue and leave a flat surface for your new tip.

Ivorine 3® tube is a linen based rolled and molded product. It is impact resistant and bonds with epoxy, cyanoacrylates and wood glue. It is very strong and easy to machine to a high luster and is impervious to chalk. Soft white to ivory in color. Sold by the foot. Incredible playing characteristics.

These are .562 outside diameter with a through hole of .250 inside diameter.

This is an aluminum clamp that will help you to be sure your tip is attached to the ferrule and the glue has time to dry sturdy and straight. This way you can let the cue sit on its own while the glue dries. This is an affordable way to be sure your new tip will stick around.
