There are knock-offs of this cutter out there which are imported from overseas. Ours is made in America. That's the difference in price. If you want to save then buy their cutter but if you want American quality and precision, then this is the cutter for you.

This tool is great for table top lathes such as Porper, Hightower and Unique (taper shaper and their CNC) as well as larger floor lathes and Align-Rite CNC machines. The diameter is 1.25" with a 1/4" shank; incredibly small but with the necessary power. Carbide Tipped!

This is made on a CNC machine and the blades are all in-line with one another. This is a 6 flute router bit for extreme accuracy, smooth cuts and less vibration. You'll get ultra smooth cuts on shafts and butts. The cut is so smooth that it appears as if the finished piece has been sanded and buffed! Exceptionally clean cuts. A must for the serious cue builder.

We use this 6 flute blade on our router when cutting shafts and butts with our 14" X 40" tapering lathe as well as other machines. This is a great cutter!

Automatic Tip Shaper

This is a tapping accessory for use on all type lathes. This precision aid assures the same tap alignment as the drilled hole to produce accurate, improved threads and it reduces tap breakage. You'll never get more accurate tapping than with this handy tool.

Ease of Operation: Simply place the tap into the tapper. Then insert the tapper into your chuck on the tail stock. Move the tailstock forward and up to the work piece in the same plane as the drilled hole. No power is necessary as the tool is manufactured for hand tapping. Just apply some inward pressure on the "T" handle while turning to start the tap. As soon as the tapping starts, inward pressure is no longer required.

We have tapped with this tool under low power and it produces accurate and smooth threads. We do not recommend tapping under power for safety reasons. For safety we recommend rotating the chuck by hand.

If you've ever had problems creating accurate threads, this handy tool will resolve that problem. We use about 8 of these for all the different tap sizes which we use on a daily basis. They're really handy, accurate and easy to use. Saves time too! Taps not included.

This is our large concave 'live' center. It's designed to spin a shaft while holding the tip firmly in place. It can be used with any large metal lathe using a chuck.

Here is a dead center which can be used on a large metal lathe. It's long enough and the diameter is small to keep the work piece away from the headstock. The small diameter allows you to cut wood without worrying about the blade hitting the dead center.

The dead center is 5.5" long
The shank is .5"

If you want to find out the accuracy of your lathe, you chuck up on one of these dowel pins and then put a dial indicator on the pin. They measure .500" X 2.00" and are precision ground at a ISO 9001 factory.

This is a wonderful item to add to any large floor type lathe. It insures complete accuracy and holds work pieces accurately centered in the lathe. This is an item that no serious cue builder should be without. In fact, we use this very chuck on most of our large lathes. It insures total accuracy and is great as it steadies and holds long work pieces perfectly centered. It has a large 1 3/8" bore which is more than adequate enough for working on most any cue. The chuck comes machined with inside threads (1 9/16-32) but you will have to machine a coupler which is simple enough to make for those of you who own large lathes.

A Tip Shaping Guide & Blade Rest

This is a shaping guide for those who prefer to use the utility blade to hand shape the tip.

It has 3 radius guides on the rest. Nickel, Penny and Dime size radiuses.

This takes the guess work out of it and mounts on one side of your tool post.

This is our 'live' center. You'll note that the point protrudes a little longer than usual. We made them like this to keep the work piece out far enough so that you can make cuts to the end of the wood without worrying about interference from the 'live' center. This item works on any large metal lathe using a chuck.
