This tip tool is designed to agitate the quality leather tip of your cue in a non-intrusive and more gentle manner. Unlike tips picks and other tip tools which cut, poke and/or puncture the leather, this quality tool gently scuffs the tip to a more natural shape. While doing so, it maintains the maximum performance and more importantly the structural integrity of the tip which also allows for maximum chalk retention and adhesion. The two pieces are held together with magnets and just a flick of the finger open it up yet stays closed when in your pocket or bag.
About the price! We've seen 'Kopy Kat' products out there that are insanely priced at $34.95 and $44.95 for their black model. What are they thinking! More importantly they have the cojones to state right on their web site that their price is MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing). Say NO to MAP products! This is just a method of screwing you the consumer into thinking these prices are current and real. These prices are bogus and misleading just like Tiger Products Merchandise who is one of the largest offenders and scummiest operators of MAP schemes.
These are natural linen ferrules or Black Linen ferrules. They are sold on a per 1 or per 10 basis. These are solid blanks which you can drill and tap yourself.
The dimensions are .562 in diameter and 1.060" in length.
For installing tips on these ferrules we highly recommend our Cyanoacrylate for tips.
A lightweight UV stabilized Thermoplastic material. Soft white in color with good chalk resistance, this tubing machines easily and works well with most glues. Epoxy is recommended for installation. XTC hits slightly softer than the Melamine materials. Not recommended for use in Jump/Break Cues, or for use with any coolants or solvents containing hydrocarbons when machining as the material may break down. Use of Synthetic Coolants or Solvents is fine.
Each ferrule is approximately .530 in diameter and 1.100" in length with a 5/16-14 thread and a glue relief hole.

This DVD will cover proper shaft cutting techniques for maximum yield. Shafts have a tendency of warping and our procedure for cutting shafts and how is by far the very best. It yields almost 100% usable shaft wood with minimal warping. Joe has tested and tried many methods and procedures. This DVD shows the best time schedule, method and to what size as well as dipping procedures in Shaft Dip (the DVD mentions Resolute but substitute it with Shaft Dip). This is a must have for the beginner and even the veteran as we can all learn something.

Our acrylic disk ferrule pads are much softer than fiber or carbon fiber pads. They measure .552 in diameter and .080 in thickness. Our pads are thicker than our competition to allow room for error when cutting down (sometimes we shave off too much). These will protect the ferrule without compromising the hit. This material glues on best with either cyanoacrylate adhesives.
These are original Meucci replacements ferrule blanks. They are .562 round X 1.250" in length or by popular demand, 1" in length. You can drill and tap these as needed for your requirements. These are priced on a per 10 basis.

The Lex Ferrules in tapped format are designed with a thread diameter of 0.2555, offering precision and reliability. Made from Lexan (polycarbonate material), these ferrules are lightweight, durable, and bendable without cracking. Perfect for jumps and breaks with added spin and draw. Available in Clear or Black.
Fiber ferrule pads are used between the ferrule and the tip. Some believe this protects the ferrule while others believe it enhances the 'hit'. Both are actually correct. It depends which camp you're in.
We recommend using these especially with Genuine Elephant Ivory Ferrules.
Each pad is .031" thick and 14mm diameter.

Our inventory is deep, where you'll always get well aged shafts that were turned months ago. You'll never get shafts from us that were turned last week. Our inventory is extremely deep and aged so we can immediately supply shafts in virtually any quantity. Our shaft wood is your shaft wood. We turn them incrementally with a minimum of 45 days between passes. We can do it that way because of the depth of our shaft wood inventory.
There is no one in this business that can provide the quality, quantity and aged wood as we do. Whether you order 1, 100 or 500 we can ship today!
We supply shafts in 30" lengths which is sufficient to make any shaft for 99.999% of pool players. Most want a standard shaft at 29" and very few want longer shafts on their cues. You'll get an occasional order for a 29.5" and seldom a 30" but these are sufficient to cover any needs. Working with longer shafts will throw off your taper or you'll have to adjust the taper when you cut off the additional length. Working as close to final is always easier and less complicated. We like uncomplicated.
Straight grain! If you want to see the definition of straight grain, please click on the above picture. These boards which were just jointed, will allow you to see the straight grain pattern. It doesn't get any better than these boards!
Grading is subjective and varies with each persons definitions. We endeavour to grade conservatively and accurately.

Grade Pro-Growth
These are the best of the best. These are all high growth ring concentration, white and perfectly straight-grained. Just take a close look at the two photo's.This is genuine old-growth maple that rarely come up for sale these days. We've latched on to a supplier and that's all we're getting. Don't bother looking for these from anyone else as they are virtually nonexistent except through us.
We will guarantee 18+ rings to the inch and they are being sold as 1" X 30" rounds. They are all straight and tight-grained. These will weigh in at well over 4oz when tapered down to a final shaft. These are dense and produce a very distinctive 'hit'. You cannot purchase better shaft wood
Grade AAA Superb: These are absolutely Superb shafts with an incredible number of growth rings. These will average 12 - 18+ rings per inch with many in the 18+ rings per inch. These are seldomly seen this nice. In fact, these are like having naturally laminated shafts.
Grade AAA: These are straight, white, may contain a slight amount of sugar but these are usually clear, no grain run-off and a beautiful straight spine. These average about 6 -12 or more growth rings per inch. These are strictly for high end cues or low end cues with great shafts.
Grade AA: These are straight, white and a tiny amount of sugar may show (very slight), may have slight grain run-off. These average 6 -12 or more growth rings per inch. Excellent for middle range cues -- excellent value
Grade A: These are straight, white and/or may be slightly off white, small amounts of sugar may show, slight grain run off and may show a slight wiggle in the grain. These average 6-12 or more growth rings per inch. Great for lower end cues and sneaky petes. These are really nice dowels and will make very nice shafts.
Cue Components Pure White Phenolic® was developed specifically for custom cue makers. This rod is manufactured using the finest materials and a proprietary pigmented-resin system so that you don't get the linen look under magnification similar to the inferior stuff sold by other sources in Skokie. The material is strong, easy to machine, and Pure White in color after applying a clear coat.

The Silver Bullet Pocket Chalker-Scuffer will be your best friend when playing a few racks. It will keep your chalk always handy and you can shape your tip to a precision nickel radius. The bullet is a genuine 30-06 round (without the powder of course).

These are a fine white linen based weave. These blanks are drilled 5/16" through. These are impact resistant and quite strong whereby producing a softer medium hit. They bond well with epoxy and wood glue. The dimensions are approximately .545 in diameter and 1" in length.
