This tip tool is designed to agitate the quality leather tip of your cue in a non-intrusive and more gentle manner. Unlike tips picks and other tip tools which cut, poke and/or puncture the leather, this quality tool gently scuffs the tip to a more natural shape. While doing so, it maintains the maximum performance and more importantly the structural integrity of the tip which also allows for maximum chalk retention and adhesion. The two pieces are held together with magnets and just a flick of the finger open it up yet stays closed when in your pocket or bag.

About the price! We've seen 'Kopy Kat' products out there that are insanely priced at $34.95 and $44.95 for their black model. What are they thinking! More importantly they have the cojones to state right on their web site that their price is MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing). Say NO to MAP products! Aegis II is a Linen Melamine based thermoset ferrule material. It is rolled and molded for high strength. It bonds well with Epoxy, Cyanoacrylate, and wood glues. Machines well, and the color varies from soft white to Ivory colored.

Thermoset materials were originally developed as strong, inexpensive alternatives to metals for industrial applications (i.e. washers, insulators, bushings). For these types of industrial applications characteristics such as color and cleanliness are less critical. Therefore, the manufacturing process for thermosets does not adjust easily to control such factors. We have made enormous efforts to control these characteristics when manufacturing thermoset materials for the billiard industry, however, despite our best efforts you may discover some inconsistencies. Such inconsistencies are unavoidable and should be considered part of the cost of working with these materials.

Each ferrule is SOLID and approximately .562 in diameter and 1.100" in length.

Barringer's E-Z Shine Bees Wax is pure, natural and triple filtered as compared to the dirty and nasty looking Tiger Bees Wax. Simply look at the color variation. This product comes in blocks rather than rounds which makes it easier to use and apply. Round doesn't work as well. These are the same weight as the Tiger MAP CRAP Bees Wax but ours is a higher grade and less money too!

You can use these to burnish the sides of tips and use to fill in cracks on tables as well. Do not use this on shafts unless you can burnish with a lathe. These blocks are exceptional quality and value!

The black chalk holder is a nice item. This is a handy and easy to use way of having chalk always accessible. It protects the chalk in case it's dropped and it feels good in your hand. When you're finished playing just turn the chalk around in the holder and it will keep the dust off your cue case and/or clothes.

Our Morakami chalk will make a great companion for these chalk holders. Just add $2.50 additional for a block of Morakami Chalk.

This is our large concave 'live' center. It's designed to spin a shaft while holding the tip firmly in place. It can be used with any large metal lathe using a chuck.

These are the 2 ounce jars!!

This is a wonderful item to add to any large floor type lathe. It insures complete accuracy and holds work pieces accurately centered in the lathe. This is an item that no serious cue builder should be without. In fact, we use this very chuck on most of our large lathes. It insures total accuracy and is great as it steadies and holds long work pieces perfectly centered. It has a large 1 3/8" bore which is more than adequate enough for working on most any cue. The chuck comes machined with inside threads (1 9/16-32) but you will have to machine a coupler which is simple enough to make for those of you who own large lathes.

Cyanoacrylates (CAs) have become the adhesive of choice for many cue building applications. High quality CAs, when used properly, form bonds that in many cases are stronger than the material that is being adhered.

Our Cyanoacrylates are highly refined which, combined with its freshness, gives a guaranteed 2 year shelf life. There is no finer CA available.

How To Use Cyanoacrylates

Heat and moisture will decrease the shelf life of CAs. Unopened bottles can be stored in a freezer or refrigerator, but allow them to reach room temperature before using. Keep your bottles in a cool place that won't be exposed to direct sunlight and store away from bottles of accelerators. Due to the freshness of our CAs, their shelf life is guaranteed for 24 months.

For the initial opening of the top, loosen and retighten the top first to relieve internal pressure, then hold the bottle against a near vertical surface and cut off the top 1/32" with a knife or razor blade without squeezing the bottle. To prevent clogging, do not let the tip of the nozzle touch a surface that has been sprayed with any Accelerator. Before replacing the colored cap, set the bottle down hard to knock the remaining CA back into the bottle before squeezing it in an upright position to blow air through the nozzle, then wipe the tip clean.

With all CAs, the closer the parts fit together, the stronger the bond. Always hold the bonding surfaces together as tightly as possible. Any rough spots on the mating surfaces should be smoothed out. Although CAs will hold objects together with considerable strength within seconds, the full strength of the bond is not reached for several hours. Allow for this before subjecting parts to maximum stress. Also, CAs are generally a little less brittle and have higher strength when they are allowed to cure on their own.
